Ibiza Kwoon 2002
Wing Chun seminar at Nino Bernardo's Ibiza Kwoon
Since 2000, Sifu Nino Bernardo has moved to Ibiza and it was here that his latest seminar was held. Covering the applications of all the forms, the seminar gave everyone an opportunity to meet each other, bringing together Nino's students from around the world. It was great to see the island, see where Nino has moved to and to have great fun while learning more about Wing Chun.
Besides a group of Nino's students from Ibiza, the seminar included:
- Pascal and his group from France
- Representatives from Franco Regalzi's school in Italy
- Sifu Sandi Pascual from Barcelona, a representative of the Nino Bernardo and Wong Shun Leung associations, with his students and instructors
- Students from Majorca
- Kay Lyn, senior student instructor of the Basement, London, with some of his students
- Eddie Yung from the Oxford Wing Chun School and some of his students
- And a large attendance from the Reading Academy of Wing Chun/Kali and its instructor Lucas Castrounis.

Wing Chun Quotes
Traditionally, when someone committed himself/herself to martial arts, he/she prepared himself/herself for a very long process. That was the first characteristic a master looked for in an individual before accepting him/her as his/her student. Today, people are not as patient. They want everything given to them fast because they are "paying" for it. With this kind of attitude, masters of martial arts dish out either diluted or pure garbage to this type of customers.
Showing off is the fool's idea of glory.
