Hall of Fame Award

Lucas Castrounis, has featured in a number of martial arts magazines and newspaper in the UK and abroad.
He has produced three wing chun DVD`S.
He has also been interviewed twice, live on BBC Radio Berkshire.
In 2000 he was in the limelight again when he choreographed the fighting scenes for a theatre play at the Sonning Mill Theatre in Berkshire.
In October 2003 Lucas Castrounis was presented with the Hall of Fame Award .
In March 2009 he be involved in a combat short film "Game Over" as a main actor with Franco Regalzi .

Mr. Lucas Castrounis was honoured to receive the Hall of Fame Award from the well known Combat Magazine in recognition of his commitment and devotion to the development of Martial Arts in the United Kingdom and around the world. The Award ceremony was held in October 2003 in Birmingham (UK).

Game Over Movie

The short Film "Game Over" went to Hollywood USA .The film has won excellent positions at short films festival , first place at Tokyo ,Japan & it has finished Semi Finalist at the 2009 Action/Cut Short Film Competition in Hollywood USA. !!

The Oscar award for "The Best Actor" for the short film, "Game Over"

Lucas Castrounis & Franco Regalzi on the 9th of May 2010 received an Oscar award, from the film commission in Italy and from film the Director Andrea Di Bartolo, of best supporting actors in the short film "Game Over".

It an excellent result & the film is among the most important if not the most important competition of short films in America.

Lucas Castrounis was invited in September 2008 in Italy to act in a combat short film "Game Over". Lucas is acting in the film as a serial killer alongside with his friend Franco Regalzi. Franco is acting as a Police Chief Inspector.

The film has transmitted on an Italian television that it's called Coming Soon television both on digital terrestrial broadcasting & on satellite TV .

These are some words of the organizers:
"It was a great, competitive year with a widely varied assortment of excellent films in every category. Also, it was our 6th and biggest year with over a thousand entrants from the USA and countries around the world. If you are listed as a Finalist or Semi-Finalist, you should be very proud as the competition was very tough and each film had to be viewed 2-3 times by various Juries in order to pick those listed."

The Mayor of the city, Alessandria said that the short film, Game Over, is wonderful. He Decided, to show the short movie on the October 16, 2009 in the Citadela (it is where the film has been filming) with all the honors. He congratulated everyone & he said The bad guy is a good actor. Game Over was a great success.

It has been screened in Rome Sunday the 18th October 2009 for the International Film Festival 2009.
