Lucas Castrounis received the Hall of Fame Award

Mr. Lucas Castrounis was honoured to receive the Hall of Fame Award from the well known Combat Magazine in recognition of his commitment and devotion to the development of Martial Arts in the United Kingdom and around the world.

The Award ceremony was held in October 2003 in Birmingham. Lucas dedicated the award to all the past and present students of the Reading Academy of Wing Chun & Kali and especially to his first generation students: Ormond Arnold, Nick Ratcliffe, Craig Harry, David Munro, Dan Creswell, and to his sifu and all his senior kung fu brothers of the Basement school.

Furthermore, Lucas would like to thank Mr Paul Clifton (the Publisher/Managing Director and Editor of Combat Magazine), Crispian Farrow and Arline Davis for their help and assistance at this event, and his family and children Maria, George and Pauline Castrounis, as well as everyone else who has helped him to achieve this.
